I love Ronin! The Cosmopolitan and Vegas rolls are my go to order. They have a great happy hour with BOGO half off rolls 330-630 M-Sat. They also have drink specials. Best deal in town and having Saturday night included is great. Fresh fish. Excellent preparation and value. And edamame is included.

I will have to come back another time to see if my rating would change or not. We ordered sushi, appetizers and 1 entree. The lemon grass chicken was average as was the buffalo roll. Lobster volcano roll was delicious and the Thai chicken lettuce wraps. The edamame appetizer was over cooked or something. We thought you ate the whole pod but the pod was too rough and chewy to enjoy. The peas inside were great. The service was slow and I think only one waitress was working, but she knew her menu and got our order correct. Sooo we had a good meal and liked the patio, but it was like parts were good and some parts not so much.

Ronin was a great late dinner takeout choice. Open a bit later than the Restaurants in the area, it's a great option when you get hungry in the evening. I ordered the beef and broccoli and wow it was excellent. A large portion, at a fair price as well. The sushi bar looked like it was very good as well, however I didnt get chance to have any.

So I was told Ronin was a good, hidden sushi gem.
I was also told Sushi Ting was a good, hidden sushi gem.
After having sushi at these good, hidden sushi gems, I end up burping fish oil and feel ill the rest of the evening. WHY.
Frankly, I liked it had a nice, open patio, and the interior wasn't huge - but our server was inattentive if not borderline careless - it was definitely a "why am I serving you" vibe, not the feeling you want from a server. And in that tight space... it wasn't busy.
Since it was dinner, it came with edamame - which had a second skin - my girlfriend said it happens from being steamed too long - they were quite... soaked. I suppose this is the equivalent of "being left under a heat lamp."
Reviewing the menu, it's... a lot. It's sushi. It's Japanese. It's... chinese. It's thai. It's all over the place. Ordered the steamed dumplings, and they were... warm. I've had better dumplings from Trader Joe's frozen section.
Ordered the firecracker roll - a simple, spicy roll. WHY DID I ALLOW MYSELF TO FINISH IT. I regret it, but I was convinced I was just not giving it a chance. And my insides paid for it.
Basically... it's far enough away that I would never go out of my way for it. But the entire experience left me with a bad taste (literally and figuratively) that I can't recommend this place. -

Super yummy and fresh. Friendly service, clean atmosphere. Great lunch specials, good variety. Will definitely be back!
